Different legal systems operate in different countries, even Scotland has a different legal service to England. There are pitfalls and difficulties associated with purchasing in other countries and we would strongly advise you not to enter into a purchase agreement abroad on your own initiative.

We can recommend the services of solicitors and international lawyers within the United Kingdom to ensure the conveyancing of your property is carried out fully & completely giving you satisfaction and peace of mind. Should you encounter any difficulties, at least your solicitor is based in the United Kingdom and you are not travelling to and fro to Spain. If you choose your own solicitor within Italy, often the legal documents are in Italian and you may then need a translator who also understand the legalities to explain them to you.
